The Favorite Card Games of Online Gamblers

What is your favorite card game online? It doesn’t necessarily have to be the most popular game, such as online poker. Though, we must tell you, if it were so that your favorite online casino card game was poker you’d be in good company. Not that you would be in bad company were your favorite card game to play online in fact blackjack instead of poker. Or even War, War isn’t such a bad card game, even though it is more popular with children these days than adults – or so online casino operators have heard, otherwise they would be offering it.
Seriously, don’t feel bad if your favorite game is not online poker. Online poker is popular not simply because it is a fun and skillful card game online, but also because a lot of people have been working to lobby the online casino industry and have given poker a prominence that supporters of other, more international-minded classics like blackjack would love to see done for their game. Even so, part of the reason is that supporters of blackjack saw the pre-eminence of online poker and thought it would not be worth the fight of challenging such a popular game.
And what they did was cede the ground to poker without much of a fight. If you ask fans of blackjack, they will often say it is unfair that online poker is the most popular game – but they fail, when they do this, to remember that online poker has a lot more than just supporters contributing to victory. People often like to think when they play online casino games, and there isn’t much in the way of skill when it comes to blackjack. If blackjack is to ever become as popular as online poker, it may have to smarten itself up. Or, online poker will have to dumb itself down. Which is pretty unlikely.
