Online Gambling Fights Back
5 Oct 2006
A major online casino’s CEO published a video, which in it he asks the American president George W. Bush not to sign the new law. He claims that online gambling is clean and wholesome, and by signing it the president will interfere in free will constitutional right. Online gambling financial work with the credit card companies was band this week by the law president Bush is supposed to sign soon. The law states that online gambling cannot be bet and paid thorough a credit card in US borders.
Many solutions were invented this week. Some of them are to unite with other casinos abroad which the US online gambling sites have a cooperation contract with, and open a financial branch there – and that way credit card problem will be solved. Other solution was to put high non traditional online gambling games such as trivia, which the law does not refer to it as a casino prohibited game. Another solution is to focus on the cheques and cash payments on the phone, and drop the credit completely. Online gambling is a very strong and well making field, and the best minds are working on the solution this entire week.
It’s reported that some casinos will not spot using credit cards until the law will be signed buy president Bush. Until then, online gambling sites will continue as usual. Online gambling was growing in 42 percent this year, and there is no way some one will let the companies stop – some changes will have to be made, but the major cause will still be keeping people entertained.
